We did a science experiment with the kids about how yeast releases carbon dioxide when it eats sugar. We also built a string fort, sang Disney's Frozen's "Let It Go", and popped balloons! Mystery Video: ift.tt/1suwOxm For this science experiment, you will need a coke bottle (smaller is better), yeast, sugar, a balloon, spoon, and a funnel Start by putting an inch of warm/hot water in the bottle. Using your funnel put a packet's worth or a tablespoon of yeast in the bottle. Swirl it around. Then add a spoonful of sugar to the bottle. Swirl it around to help activate the yeast. Then stretch your balloon across the top of your bottle and let it sit. Monitor to see what happens.
