Biologists with the Yellowstone Grey Wolf Restoration Project in Yellowstone National Park attach GPS collars, take blood samples, and collect other data as they care for sedated wolves from the Mollies pack in the park’s Pelican Valley. The team’s wolf capture and GPS collaring allows the biologists to integrate knowledge of the animals’ life histories, genetics, and predatory influence on Yellowstone National Park’s dynamic ecosystem.
