After much debate, I surrendered to curiosity and ordered the Firefox OS ZTE Open C from eBay when it came up for sale for only $99 in May 2014. I received it on Friday, May 16, 2014 and have been enjoying playing with it. It’s more powerful than I expected, although far less so than my trusty iPhone (which cost 7x as much without contract).



For those wondering, the ZTE Open C works great as an iPod Touch-style Wifi device without a Sim card. (The Sim card comes Tuesday.)
